Meghan Markle and royal baby Archie have received their first apparent celeb snub, after Priyanka Chopra denied she had any plans to meet the tot.

The revelation came after widespread reports the star and her husband Nick Jonas had paid a visit to the duchess - who she’s known since 2015 - at Frogmore Cottage.

But Priyanka has now hit back at claims she shelled out hundreds of dollars of gifts for the famous bub, and instead confirmed she was in the UK for work only.

“While these are great gift ideas... this story is untrue, and I was actually in town for work,” she tweeted in reference to rumours she splurged on Tiffany and Co.’s baby range for Archie.

This stance was further solidified by a source close to the actress who revealed Priyanka had not penciled in time to see her longtime friend while in the UK.

“Priyanka has not seen Meghan and has no plans to see Meghan during this trip. She is in town for professional commitments,” they told Daily Mail.

However, the star did find time to attend one of Mariah Carey’s concerts at Royal Albert Hall in London during her stay - even posting a snap of the pair together on Instagram.

The newest denial comes months after Priyanka was forced to quash rumours of a falling out with the duchess after famously skipping her high-profile New York baby shower.

Meghan was also absent from Priyanka and Nick’s opulent wedding in India just before Christmas.

But the Baywatch star put the ‘feud’ rumours to bed herself during an interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in March.

But when Priyanka was asked if she was upset about Meghan skipping her wedding, she replied: “Oh my god, no, it’s not true.”

After Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland returned to Los Angeles after Archie’s birth on May 6, stylist Jessica Mulroney is said to have paid a visit to Frogmore last week.
