How Kyle and Jackie O are spending their $200 million: Mansions and private islands
The duo have been spending big since signing their eye-watering 10-year deal with ARN last month.
Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson are set to earn a combined $200 million over the next 10 years after signing a new deal to keep The Kyle & Jackie O Show on KIIS FM for another decade.
The new deal, which has been described as the biggest deal in Australian media history, will see the presenters’ salaries increase from $5 million to $10 million as they continue to work together until 2034.
Although the ink is barely dry on their new contract, it seems the radio stars are already splashing out and sparing no expense.
Property portfolios
Just a few days after signing the deal last month, Kyle spent $14 million on a new family home in Sydney’s Vaucluse.
News.com.au reports Kyle and his wife Tegan Kynaston have plans to lodge a development application to the council to add a third storey to the property, which would see the bedrooms move upstairs “to capitalise on the views of the harbour, Bridge and city”.
The couple currently rent a $10,000-a-week mansion nearby in Sydney’s east and owns a second home in Glenorie, a farm in Robertson, and a holiday home in Port Douglas.

Meanwhile, Jackie is currently finalising plans to knock down the $13 million Clovelly mansion she purchased earlier this year and build her “dream home” on the 492m² oceanfront plot.
In August, she explained on-air that she had changed her mind about adding a third level to the new build for a “wellness centre” with a spa, infrared sauna, gym and an ice bath.
“I want an intimate house, a house that I feel is a home,” she said at the time.
Private island
Earlier this year, Kyle told listeners he’d clashed with his wife Tegan over his plans to buy the family a private island in Queensland’s Whitsundays.
The Australian Idol judge was close to splashing out $2.5 million on a 3.1-hectare island which was “only a 10-minute boat ride from the mainland” before she’d shut him down.
However, Kyle explained he was still on the lookout for the future and is “constantly” looking at real estate websites for the perfect spot.
Vacations
With The Kyle and Jackie O Show currently on Christmas break, Jackie shared an Instagram Story last week revealing she’s currently holidaying on Kokomo Private Island in Fiji to celebrate her daughter Kitty’s 13th birthday.
A stay on the luxury island starts at $11,000-a-week, with guests required to book for at least five days.
Cars
Since signing the huge new deal, Jackie has upgraded her wheels and has been spotted driving around Sydney in a brand new Range Rover Sport, worth approximately $500,000.
The radio star got lucky with the vehicle, admitting on-air that the intended owner who’d ordered the car and imported it into Australia was “going to jail and could no longer pick it up” – meaning she bypassed the huge waiting time and scored it instead.
Business empires
Kyle and Jackie O will both be using money from their new $10 million a year to invest in their growing business empires.
Jackie has revealed on air that she has big plans in 2024 for her new Besties brand, which so far has hosted an event with Gwyneth Paltrow, sold luxury holiday packages and released a pyjama range.
Kyle already has a long list of companies, with his Nueva Drinks Co. alcohol brand and record label and television, film, radio and music production company, KingKyle, being his most notable at present.
Speaking to listeners recently, he revealed his latest venture is a sustainably canned water branded titled Thirst Trap which launched earlier this year.
