Home and Away's Ada Nicodemou raves about James Stewart at Logies: 'Always in awe'

After hard-launching their relationship at the Logies on Sunday, Home and Away's Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart seem smitten as they openly talk about their off-screen relationship together for the first time.

After being asked by a Channel Seven reporter what it's like spending so much time acting together while on the 2024 Logies red carpet, Ada was quick to gush about James' acting talents, with the two having known each other for over 20 years, and now, of course, playing on-screen love interests Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan on Home and Away.

"Well, you know what, he's just the best actor ever," Ada said about James. "And I am always in awe with him, and I'm always learning. And also, we laugh a lot."

"We laugh so much, and we dance a lot," James said. "But we've known each other for a very long time and it's a good feeling."

Some Channel Seven fans expressed shock that the two actors were dating, with people questioning on Instagram what happened between James and his ex-wife Sarah Roberts. "Oh is he not with Sarah Roberts no more???" one person asked. "Are they together in real life? I thought they were both married," another questioned.

Ada and James were first spotted kissing on Anzac Day, a little while after the stars' previous relationships ended. It came after The Sunday Telegraph reported that the pair had taken their on-screen relationship off-screen and had been secretly dating, after being spotted kissing at Channel Seven's Christmas Party last year.

The news came after it was announced James and ex-wife Sarah Roberts had quietly divorced at some stage in the last year with Sarah officially addressing the divorce in late April, while Ada's relationship with Sydney businessman Adam Rigby reportedly ended late last year.

In an interview with Stellar magazine in July, Ada confirmed the romance with James. "Jimmy and I are together, yes. It's only early days. It's very recent and very unexpected. I'm super happy. It's really lovely," she said.

Just like the drama of Home and Away however, the romantic relationship did not come without its own rumours, with an insider exclusively telling Yahoo Lifestyle last month that Sarah Roberts and Ada were also “close friends” before Ada started seeing James romantically. “I know a lot of the cast and crew aren’t talking to Ada anymore because Ada and Sarah were really good friends.” the source claimed.
