After travelling 17 hours from Queensland with her husband and two daughters, Tammin Sursok has detailed the awful conditions at her Airbnb property in Melbourne that made her flee in the middle of the night.
The former Home And Away star, who is rumoured to be joining the cast of Neighbours this year, took to her Instagram Story over the weekend to recount the experience.
“We just went into our Airbnb and it is a complete disaster. It is nine o'clock at night,” she said while standing outside in the dark.
“I'm scared, I don't like it. It's haunted,” her daughter Phoenix remarked, to which Tammin replied, “You don't have to be scared. It's not haunted.”
The Aussie actress then shared a series of snaps of the run down house, which appeared to have damaged walls, ripped carpet, smashed glass and a mysterious dark brown liquid in the freezer.
“This has actually never happened to me,” she continued. “Airbnb has been amazing so far, so we will see what we do. But not ideal.”
In a follow-up story, Tammin revealed that she and her family ended up spending the night in a hotel and said she had since. received a full refund.
“What a s**t show,” she said while lying on her bed. “Airbnb refunded everything, which they should’ve, thank goodness.
“I’ve never actually had that experience. I’ve never had to be refunded for a place I’ve stayed because normally everything’s great. But it was a disaster. When you walked in it stunk like black mould.”
The mother of two starred as Dani Sutherland on rival soap opera Home and Away from 2000 to 2004, winning the Most Popular New Female Talent Logie Award in 2001 for her portrayal.
