Home and Away fans left fuming over detail in episode: 'The worst'

Viewers of the hit soap pointed out one frustrating detail in the show.

Home and Away fans have been left fuming over one frustrating detail in the latest season of the show, which returned to screens this week. Last night, viewers were stuck on the edge of their seats as the Remi Carter and Eden Fowler kidnapping saga unfolded in Summer Bay.

While many people were delighted that the storyline wasn’t dragged out for too long after the pair were taken to hospital, others couldn’t look past one detail in the show.

Many fans took to a Facebook group dedicated to the show to blast the amount of ads Channel 7 showed during the short episode, with one person complaining that they only saw “about 10 minutes of Home and Away”.

“Well not much to talk about unless we want to chat about the high volume of ads,” one person commented on a thread about what happened in the episode.

Another person called them ‘the worst’ while one viewer called it ‘bu*****t’.

“Yeah there’s a bunch of shockers, I like the Aldi ads at least those are usually funny,” another person said.

“I counted 9 in the 1st break,” another person counted.

Bizarre search party details

Home and Away burst back onto the screens with a bang on Monday night with a full-blown search party being organised by Cash in the blink of an eye - a fact that didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans.

“I thought you had to wait 24 hours before a person is reported missing. The search party got there pretty quickly lol,” a viewer pointed out, with another person adding: “What an absolute load of crap!”.

Others shared their thoughts on some other questionable moments in the show.

“So Leah is still recovering from the trauma of being kidnapped and now Eden has been kidnapped. Too many kidnappings in Summer Bay!” one fan shared.

Others were clearly divided over where the storyline was going. “Why hasn’t he noticed the loo paper missing, how many rolls did they have?” one person remarked, while another added, “Why hasn’t he noticed the lamp missing? And isn’t that the first thing they ask you is, is anything else missing from the campsite?”.
