Home and Away fans debate theory on secretive new character: 'Something fishy'
Is Rory actually a River Boy? Fans aren't sure.
Home and Away fans are getting very excited over a new storyline involving bad boy Rory, his new love interest Felicity, and the tangled web of River Boys, local police, with a murder mystery thrown in for good measure.
After fans got sick of repetitive storylines (including numerous kidnappings over the years) the Home and Away writers have delivered a spicy storyline involving the murder of a cop from Mangrove River and the introduction of a new batch of River Boys who are, of course, prime suspects as they create havoc around town once again.
New River Boy Rory, however, is dating fan-favourite Felicity whose brother Cash is a police officer, so already things are messy. Now with Cash working with a Mangrove River cop to solve all the crimes around the region (of which, there are many), fans are theorising that not everything is as it seems.
But is Rory actually a River Boy?
Dun dun dunnnnn! (That's dramatic music.) Home and Away fans are busy discussing if Rory is actually who he says he is, with some speculating he's not the ringleader of the River Boys after all — but actually an undercover police officer.

"So I’ve seen this is another group that someone, well a few people said this... now this isn’t confirmed it’s just a theory, so don’t get too excited: Rory is an undercover cop that is trying to bring down the corrupt female cop working with Cash?" an admin posted in a Home and Away spoilers and gossip Facebook group.
"I don’t believe he is an undercover cop as I don’t see him working with the River Boys, Rory did say he is the leader of the River Boys so I definitely say he ain’t an undercover cop as there is no way he be a leader of the River Boys if that was the case," they finished the post with.
Fans jumped on board to discuss their theories about Rory, with some adamant he is undercover despite being the leader of the River Boys. Many fans also agree that the new female police officer seems a little sussy or unbothered by everything going on.
"I thought straight away Rory was an undercover cop," one person said. "I highly doubt it but I do think there is something fishy about the female cop, she's hiding something," another said.
"Maybe the chick cop is the leader of the River Boys haha," another person joked (look, it's Summer Bay, anything is possible).
Will Felicity leave Summer Bay with Rory?
With fans aware that Felicity is leaving the Bay at some stage this year, the theory adds up to her departure. "Could it be how Flick leaves? He’s a good guy after all and they leave together?" one person speculated.

"If Rory is an undercover cop then when it comes out perhaps he goes into witness protection and Felicity chooses to go with him. Hence her exit," another pointed out.
Others weren't as convinced Rory was going to end up on the other side of the law.
"Rory will use Flick to get inside info and stay one step ahead of the cops and the cop that got murdered," one person said. "Police chick has been on before she was at the other station and knew Dean so I don’t think she’s corrupt, but I could be wrong. Can’t wait for the storyline to pan out on the new gen of river boys," someone else said.
