Home and Away fans are poking fun at Harper's pregnancy storyline
Seems like Tane can stop kidnapping babies from hospitals now.
If you're up-to-date on Home and Away you'll already know that in last night's episode, Harper (Jessica Redmayne) discovered she was pregnant after a night of passion with Tane (Ethan Browne). If you're not up-to-date then sorry for the spoiler, I guess.
It's been a long, loooong, looooong storyline of Tane, a bad-boy-turned-good, longing to become a father, so much so his marriage to Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis) imploded after she decided she didn't want a baby. So naturally, not long after, he found an abandoned child on the beach and then tried to kidnap the baby from the hospital so he could finally fulfil his dream. Some of us would just get a dog and/or go to therapy, but not Tane. The man is determined. He even avoided jail for the baby kidnap. Go figure!
Tane is so determined, in fact, it appears he and Harper used no protection during their one-night stand, hence, Harper now being knocked up. Given Tane's longstanding desire to become a father, we can only imagine this is a way for him to get what he wants and Harper is merely a vessel to carry his future spawn who will probably walk out of the womb with huge biceps and a furrowed brow.

While we haven't seen Tane find out he's potentially about to become a Daddy (wink), fans are flocking to the comments section of, well, every social media, to discuss their opinions on this storyline and poke a little bit of fun at it too, just for good measure.
Home and Away fans react to Harper finding out she's pregnant
While many fans are taking to socials to comment about how thrilled Tane is going to be to finally get his baby dream, many are also sticking up for Harper and defending her right to decide whether she wants a baby or not.
"It's not up to him, yes he will be thrilled, it's what he wants. BUT.. you have to think of Harper, she's the one to decide," one person pointed out in the comments. "Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Tane will be thrilled but how will Harper handle this?" someone else speculated in the comments.
"As shocked as she is I’d like her to hook up with Tane again and give him the bub he has always wanted," one person counter-argued.
Over on Instagram, people were taking a more light-hearted approach.

"Harper has COVID!" Home and Away actor Nicholas Cartwright, who plays Cash Newman, commented. "Another Braxton on the way," Dan Ewing, who played Heath Braxton joked.
"At least Tane doesn't have to kidnap it, it's his," another person said. "Is it Alf’s? Or John's?" another person asked in what would be the plot-twist of the century.
"What happened to protection?" one person asked, potentially clutching at their rosary beads. "They literally got intimate in the gym office, I highly doubt any of them thought about protection," someone else pointed out.
