HGTV's Urban Oasis House 2024 Is Here! See Inside the Scandinavian Modern Home in a Lively Hotspot (Exclusive)

Fans can enter to win the stunning home starting on Wednesday, Oct. 2 through Thursday, Nov. 21

HGTV is bringing fans to the heart of the Midwest to unveil its Urban Oasis 2024 home!

PEOPLE is getting an exclusive first look at the newly renovated 1939 abode located in Kansas City, Mo. Designed by HGTV’s own Carmeon Hamilton, the 2,200-square-foot home features three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Its modern interior is mixed with funky design elements that draw inspiration from the area's rich culture and history.

“With this year’s HGTV Urban Oasis, I wanted to celebrate the local culture of Kansas City in the design,” Hamilton says. “This house has tons of texture and offers the perfect combination of boldness and natural colors.”

The fully furnished property, which was remodeled by local company Astoria Design Build, LLC, will be gifted to one lucky fan who enters the sweepstakes starting on Wednesday, Oct. 2 — along with a $50,000 check.

In the exclusive first-look tour above, Hamilton brings fans inside the Scandinavian modern-style pad and notes how the living room immediately gives residents a warm welcome with its natural wood floors and matching ceiling beams. The space is also equipped with a custom fountain-inspired art piece as “Kansas City is second to Rome when it comes to fountains,” Hamilton explains.

Residents will pass by the home office and mudroom to get to the open-concept kitchen and dining room. The kitchen features a large center island with barstool seating, as well as a “pass-through window” that connects to the outdoor dining area.

Next to the dining table, stairs lead down to the impressive “wellness lounge” equipped with a meditation chair, projector, tea bar and dry sauna.

On the second floor, the “music lounge” pays homage to Kansas City’s vibrant jazz scene with extensive storage for any music lover’s vinyl collection and space to display instruments.

The primary bedroom is “all about color and pattern” with the abstract wallpaper and art pieces, Hamilton notes. In the en suite bathroom, a matching color scheme is reflected in the tiles, and the space also offers a “massive wet room” equipped with a soaking tub.

Along with an outdoor dining area, the backyard boasts additional seating, a fire pit and cozy bistro lights.
