Here's How Taylor Is "Comforting" Travis After His Super Bowl Loss
The Kansas City Chiefs may have failed to get their three-peat at Super Bowl LIX, but at least Travis Kelce has a shoulder to cry on. According to a source for Page Six, Taylor Swift is "comforting" the tight end following Sunday's loss, as she "knows how hard" Travis has "worked all season." Per the insider, "Taylor knows Travis took this loss very hard but she couldn’t be more proud of him regardless of the outcome."
Oh, and there's another silver lining: Now that the season is over, Tay and Trav "are looking forward to enjoying some downtime" together. As the source explained, "Taylor and Travis are going to take some time away to vacation with just the two of them, talk about their future, and just relax." Love that for them.
In case you missed it, Taylor was one of the first people Travis sought out after Sunday's tough game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Several outlets caught Trav making a beeline for Taylor's private suite once the game concluded, and the two later made a private exit together.
And Tay wasn't just there to support her man—he had her back, too. Apparently, Travis became understandably upset when his girlfriend showed up on the Jumbotron during the game and was rudely booed (presumably by Eagles fans who felt she switched teams for Travis).
"Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless," a source told the Daily Mail. "Seeing the look on her face got to him. He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn't help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this."
Here's hoping these two get that much-deserved vacay soon!
