Heather Rae El Moussa Shares Look at Stepson Brayden's Shark-Themed 9th Birthday Party: 'Too Cute'

Brayden, the son of Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall, enjoyed his big day with a deep-sea celebration

Heather Rae El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa made sure Brayden's 9th birthday was some-fin special!

On Sunday, Aug. 18, the Selling Sunset alum, 36, gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her stepson Brayden's shark-themed celebration.

Documenting the gathering on her Instagram Stories, Heather Rae shared a peek at "Bray's shark-themed party" from the day before, with images showing the deep-sea decor and snaps the preteen took with his dad.

Brayden is the son of Tarek, 42, and his ex-wife Christina Hall, who also share daughter Taylor, 13. Tarek and Heather share 1-year-old son Tristan, who they welcomed together in January 2023.

Kicking off the birthday snaps, Heather uploaded a picture of a sign that guests saw when they walked into Brayden's gathering, which read, "Welcome to the shark party."

From there, she showed off a "too cute" table featuring a blow-up shark, shark gummies, a blue place mat and some shark-themed cups, bracelets and glasses. A sign reading, "Swim with the sharks," also sat on the table.

Brayden also posed for a birthday snap with his dad Tarek, as the pair smiled in flip-flops while Heather captioned the image: "My loves 🤍🍰."

After celebrating Brayden, Heather also shared an additional Instagram Stories post featuring a glimpse at an "early birthday breakfast" for "dada" Tarek, who turns 43 on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

Tarek later shared a photo of himself and Brayden at the shark party the day before, too, as they posed behind a cardboard shark and smiled together.

While Tarek and Heather are now in the midst of a busy birthday season in their family, the duo are also fresh off of enjoying some family time during a recent Caribbean vacation.

In a joint Instagram post on Aug. 3, Tarek and Heather gave fans a glimpse of their beach getaway with the family. The vacation featured brightly-colored mimosas, time spent with Heather's parents and even a little downtime for some family dancing.

Heather, who married Tarek on Oct. 23, 2021, opened up about the worries of traveling with such a big group in a later Instagram post, where she revealed that she and her husband can “stress each other out" when they're on the move.

“Tarek and I are not the best travelers together I'd say. We always stress each other out,” she admitted in an Instagram video. “And then we recover pretty quick, but there's always like that… tension moment."

Still, even with some travel tension, the family seemed to enjoy their time away, as Heather wrote in a caption this month that "it’s moments like these that make you slow down, stop and appreciate the little things. 🫶."
