Harry Connick Jr. Styles John Varvatos Bomber Jacket With Precise Trim Tape Detailing for Pregame Show at Super Bowl 2025

Harry Connick Jr. hit high notes with his look during the pregame performance at Super Bowl LIX on Sunday in New Orleans. The singer was joined by the Southern University Human Jukebox Marching Band for a rousing rendition of Professor Longhair’s “Go to the Mardi Gras.”

Connick opted for a paired-back, casual look. The singer wore a pair of deep blue pants with a black crewneck shirt. He also wore a pair of tan shoes. The centerpiece of Connick’s ensemble, however, was undoubtedly his statement jacket.

The singer wore a bomber jacket courtesy of John Varvatos. The jacket featured luxurious silky suede construction. The jacket also included precise trim tape detailing, redefining the classic bomber silhouette.

Connick’s designer jacket was finished with an antique brushed metal zipper. The jacket was an ideal piece for the singer, merging his seamlessly casual approach to style with a modern take on classic pieces.

Prior to Connick’s set, Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance. The Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer appeared in a pre-recorded performance of “Hold My Hand” ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl. The singer wore a custom wide-brimmed felt hat from Sarah Sokol Millinery.

Other entertainers and musical artists took the field ahead of the Super Bowl between 2024 champions the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Jon Batiste performed the National Anthem wearing a look courtesy of British designer Paul Smith.

The Super Bowl LIX, the NFL’s championship game for the 2024 season, takes place on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. This marks the 11th time New Orleans has hosted the Super Bowl, tying with Miami for the most by any city. Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show.
