Hannah Einbinder, Daughter Of ‘SNL’ Star Laraine Newman, Makes Cameo Alongside ‘Hacks’ Co-Star Jean Smart

Hannah Einbinder was in Studio 8H after all.

Einbinder made a cameo on Saturday Night Live alongside her Hacks co-star Jean Smart to introduce Jelly Roll.

But while she works alongside Smart on the Max comedy series, Einbinder has enough of her own history with the long-running NBC series – she is the daughter of Laraine Newman, who starred in SNL from the very beginning.

Newman was one of the OG stars from Season 1 (she’s played by Emily Fairn in Jason Reitman’s movie Saturday Night) until she left in 1980.

Newman was in the news earlier this month after she was tweeting up a storm around the Emmys, when she slammed The Bear being in the comedy category.

Smart, meanwhile, was wearing a Jelly Roll T-shirt as the pair were introducing the musician.
