Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter Apple divides with 'mean girl' move
Apple Martin is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's daughter, Apple Martin, has divided social media after making this 'mean girl' move at a debutante ball in Paris. The 20-year-old was among around 20 other young women who were presented at the glitzy Le Bal des Débutantes.
The "nepo baby" wore a strapless blue Valentino gown, which took 750 hours to assemble, for the occasion, at which both her parents, brother Moses, and grandmother, Blythe Danner, also attended. However, a video of her posing for photographers has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
Apple Martin slammed over 'mean girl' moment
Paris Match shared a video of Apple seemingly stealing another girl's thunder during a photo moment with each debutante. It looks as though Apple takes over the other girl's photo, however, it could have also been that the photographer wanted to snap a picture of her and had finished taking the other girl's photo.
"She just came and stole that other girl's thunder... OK," one user wrote on TikTok.
"The girl in black has a 'wait, what?' moment," another added.
"Mean girl of a teenage film vibe," a third said, another person added, "It's like Mean Girls."
"Gossip Girl core," someone else joked, with another agreeing and writing, "The real Serena van der Woodsen!"
"Somebody loves herself," one user added.
"The way my jaw dropped," another said.
Others saw the fun in the moment, with one person writing, "Wait, I think she's iconic for that."
"Slay, Apple, slay girl," another said.

"She's slaying, what's everyone's problem?" one person said.
"She's being cheeky and cute and not taking it too seriously," another said. "I think she's adorable."
Apple Martin makes her debut at Le Bal des Débutantes
Apple was chosen as one of the diamonds of the season and was escorted at the event by Austrian-Hungarian nobleman Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
The invitation-only ball celebrates talent, personal achievement and philanthropy.
During the ball, Apple danced with her dad, Chris, who looked adoringly at his daughter.
Chris and Gwyneth famously "consciously uncoupled" in 2016, and both have partnered up since Gwyneth with Brad Fulchuck and Chris with Dakota Johnson.
