Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Introduce Kitten They Nursed Back to Health After Finding Him 'Hardly Alive'
"With a lot of love + nurturing, he became a healthy kitten," Stefani wrote alongside a sweet Instagram clip introducing Corn Shelton
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have a new addition to the family!
On Thursday, Sept. 26, Stefani, 54, shared an adorable Instagram video introducing the cat she and Shelton, 48, adopted after he turned up at their home.
The "No Doubt" hitmaker revealed they'd named the kitten "Corn Shelton," and shared a montage of clips showing how their new addition had grown after being "so sick" when they first met him.
"This is Corn Shelton 🥰 the day he showed up to our home, he was hardly alive + so sick, but with a lot of love + nurturing, he became a healthy kitten," Stefani captioned the post.
"We’re so grateful that he’s a part of our family 🤍," the singer added as "Birds of a Feather" by Billie Eilish played in the background.
The opening photo showed the tiny cat seemingly sat on Stefani's knee while wrapped in a blanket as she squealed behind the camera.
Shelton could then be heard saying as the kitten walked around a porch, "This one is doing incredible, getting fat!"

Stefani also shared a cute clip set to her track "Somebody Else's" on her Instagram Stories, showing Corn sat on her knee as she played with him.
The introduction comes after Corn made a cameo on the season 26 premiere of The Voice on Monday, Sept. 23, per Entertainment Weekly, after Stefani brought him out while making her return to the show.
Stefani doesn't post about her pets on social media too often, but it's thought she has another cat and two dogs called Betty and Ginger, along with the farm animals on the ranch she and husband Shelton live on in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
In April 2023, the singer revealed their cat had welcomed six kittens, sharing a clip on X (formerly known as Twitter) at the time and writing, "We were all there to watch — it was such an incredible experience !! they r sooo cute 😻😻."

Stefani has embraced farm life since she tied the knot with Shelton in July 2021, and even has her own tractor on their ranch.
While speaking to NYLON Print in April about their farm life together, Shelton said “Gwen has an incredible sense for planting things: how to grow them and, once it’s growing, how to cultivate it, and when to prune something."
"I like to farm on a big scale, like corn or beans, acres at a time. She concentrates more on patches here and there and ends up farming things a little better than I do," the country singer added.
“Gwen has her own tractor now, and we’re working toward her one day soon being able to fire it up and go out to do her own thing on it.”
As well as their pets, Stefani also shares three sons — Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10 — with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, 58.
