Greatest Mysteries Ever is an eight-part series that goes back thousands of years to examine the myths and mysteries surrounding fallen empires, biblical heroes and stories, pivotal historical events, and individuals whose legacies still hold significance today. This includes investigations into the Fall of the Roman and Incan Empires, the existence and location of Noah’s Ark, and separating fact from fiction in the famous stories of King Tutankhamun, Mary Magdalene, and the Ten Plagues of Egypt.
Alien Files: Reopened looks at UFO sightings and extraterrestrial encounters that have been reported on across the globe over the decades. These cases have been analyzed by scientists, government intelligence and military experts to determine if they are an imminent threat. The patterns among these sightings are investigated to answer the real question of why they are here and if they pose a threat to national security. The eight-part series has also been sold to Discovery in Spain.
Big Media, which was founded in 2009 and has offices in the U.S., UK, Czech Republic, Germany and India, is also behind series such as Destruction Decoded and Spy Ops.
“Partnering with WB Discovery to bring Greatest Mysteries Ever and Alien Files: Reopened to their U.S. audience, as well as Alien Files for Spain, is a significant milestone for Big Media,” said Danny Wilk, President of Big Media. “This deal ensures that these fascinating original series will reach a large and enthusiastic audience across Discovery’s cable and streaming services. It also serves to further cement our dedication to the historical investigation genre that has been so successful for us around the world.”
