Gold Dress Glamour: Beyonce, Cardi B, Sabrina Carpenter and More Gilded Gowns at 2025 Grammys

Stars were going for the gold at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. For the event, a multitude of celebrities opted for looks that featured gold as major themes, whether on the red carpet or in onstage looks throughout the evening.

The 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, celebrated the best in music and raised funds for wildfire relief efforts in California and honoring first responders. Beyoncé led the nominations with a record-breaking 11 nods. Other top nominees included Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.

Beyonce

Though Beyonce skipped the red carpet, she was in her seat to receive her award for Best Country Album. The “Cowboy Carter” singer wore a gold shimmering custom Schiaparelli couture dress featuring a paisley print throughout. The dress included matching opera gloves. The look was styled by Shiona Turini.

Sabrina Carpenter

After arriving to the red carpet wearing a blue feathered dress by JW Anderson that referenced a look from “What a Way to Go,” Sabrina Carpenter changed into a strapless gold gown with a sweetheart neckline. It was in this second look that she accepted her award for “Best Pop Vocal Album.” She was styled by Jared Ellner for both looks.

Cardi B

Styled by longtime collaborator Kollin Carter, Cardi B wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gown designed by Fausto Puglisi based on a look from the spring 2025 collection. The gold and black dress featured a full feather train. The dress itself was a sculpted silhouette with an asymmetrical off-the-shoulder top.

Chappel Roan

Chappell Roan chose vintage, wearing a spring 2003 Jean Paul Gaultier couture dress. The design references paintings of Edgar Degas, the impressionist. As such it is a melange of yellows, golds and browns throughout its design. She was styled by Genesis Webb and matched the look with a pair of John Fluevog Mini Sugar Candy Buckled Tall boots.

Paris Hilton

Multi-hyphenate Paris Hilton attended the event in a sheer gold dress. The look featured a deep V-neck that dipped to the star’s navel as well as a sheer cape. She paired it with silver heels.

Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys chose a look from Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda line. First shown last July, the black sleeveless dress featured an ornate gold corset-like bodice. it also featured matching, tiered earrings that were connected with a gold chain. She was styled by Jason Bolden.
