Gogglebox star Isabelle Silbery announces birth of daughter: 'In a love bubble'

Gogglebox star Isabelle Silbery and her partner Alex Richards have welcomed their first baby together, a daughter named Ruby Emily.

The couple announced the happy news via Instagram, with Isabelle uploading a gallery of happy snaps.

"The female body is truly incredible," she wrote. "My daughter is here and the experience was grounding and empowering. @ajrichards6 so honoured to see you become a besotted father.

"I'm hormonal and in a love bubble. More to come soon," she ended the post with.

Isabelle also has a nine-year-old son from a previous marriage.

Isabelle's partner Alex also took to Instagram to celebrate the good news.

"This little one just changed my life. Ruby Emily Richards, you have no idea how loved you are going to be. You instantly gave me another purpose in life. I can’t wait to watch you grow," he said.

"@isabellesilbery your feminine energy when you brought her into the world was so powerful. You’re amazing."

Isabelle opens up about tough pregnancy condition

In an interview with The Herald Sun, Isabelle opened up about her pregnancy and her struggles with pre-natal depression, saying with therapy and the right medication she was determined to overcome her pre-natal struggles and wanted to speak out to help other women going through the same experience.

“It’s amazing when you start a conversation openly what then comes your way,” she said.

“So many women haven’t had the rainbows and butterflies pregnancies and it’s totally OK to not. And to kind of put your hand up when things aren’t feeling OK.”
