‘Ghost Adventures’ Host & Creator Zak Bagans Launches Scarehouse Films

EXCLUSIVE: Ghost Adventures paranormal investigator and EP Zak Bagans is opening the doors to his new production company, Scarehouse Films.

Scarehouse Films, which will initially be funded with a multi-million dollar investment by Bagans, plans to go into production on three independent horror films in 2025.

Bagans has hosted 330 episodes of the Discovery+ series Ghost Adventures which he created and has aired since 2008. On Ghost Adventures, Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley investigate the scariest and most notorious, haunted places in the world.

Bagans also created and produced the international series this year Destinations of the Damned, which reached No. 2 on MAX, behind The Penguin. Destinations of the Damned sends documentary crews to capture true tales of twisted terror, local lore and deeply disturbing paranormal activity at doomed locations.

Over the years, Bagans has produced hundreds of episodes, including specials and documentaries like Netherworld.

In 2018, Bagans expanded his repertoire by producing and directing the feature-length documentary Demon House, delving into a notorious haunted case.

Collaborating with filmmaker Eli Roth, Bagans co-produced two seasons of the scripted anthology series The Haunted Museum, which showcases chilling artifacts from his own collection.

Bagans owns The Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, recognized by USA Today as the “Best Haunted Destination” in America for five consecutive years. The museum houses thousands of artifacts, many of which have inspired film projects.

Bagans co-wrote with author Kelly Crigger, Dark World: Into the Shadows with the Lead Investigator of the Ghost Adventures Crew, which debuted on the New York Times Bestseller list in the fall of 2011.

In December, 2019, he published the book Ghost-Hunting For Dummies. The book ‘outlines the history of ghost-hunting, including true accounts and stories from Bagans’ famous cases.

Gersh represents both Bagans and Scarehouse Films.
