Here, see how the stars embraced sheer dressing for the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of “Nosferatu.”
Lily-Rose Depp
Lily-Rose Depp favored a gray dress from Chanel’s fall 1995 couture collection. The actress wore a slim-fitting, sleeveless gown with a simple silhouette and defining seam beneath the bustline. Overtop, Depp wore a delicate, sheer overlay, which added a touch of sparkle to the look and flowed behind the actress with a short train.
Emma Corrin
Emma Corrin favored a look that married dark romance with sheer dressing. The Emmy-nominated actor wore a black sheer, floor-length strapless gown with off-the-shoulder detailing complete with sequins, embroidery and a bevy of embellishments on the bodice designed by Miu Miu. The look included a coordinated headpiece, which also wrapped around Corrin’s neck.
Charli XCX
Charli XCX wore a velvet and satin bias maxidress with floral elements and a thigh-high slit, courtesy of Rodarte. The singer complemented the look with a pair of black pointed toe slingback heels.
Soo Joo Park
Model and musician Soo Joo Park wore a black sheer look with a romantic flowing skirt and a plunging neckline. The maxidress, which also featured long sleeves and elements of fabric ruffles at the cuffs and waist, effortlessly married romantic dressing with the sheer trend.
“Nosferatu,” directed by Robert Eggers, follows Ellen Hutter (Depp), a young woman haunted by a mysterious looming specter who wreaks havoc in his wake to find her. The film costars Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe and Bill Skarsgård. “Nosferatu” hits theaters on Dec. 25.
