Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are the celebrity couple that the internet is unanimously rooting for. Most people don't even know that they're together—let alone engaged with two kids—because they keep their romance pretty low-key...that is, until they graced the cover of Cosmopolitan for the Love Issue.
Their romance is truly the Suite Life and Home Alone crossover that pop culture aficionados never expected. As Mack joked to Cosmo, “That the public is like, ‘Wait, they’re together and they have kids?’ Good. That means we did our job.”
Brenda also chimed in with, “There was a point in time where I was like, ‘I must be in a simulation! I have two children with Macaulay Culkin!’”
Their cover shoot, photographed by Richard Kern, is proof that the pair is meant to be. The two quietly got engaged back in January 2022, and for the spread, they wore all their own jewelry—which, ofc, included Brenda's stunning engagement ring.
And, speaking of her sparkler, leading diamond experts from U.K.-based jeweler Steven Stone gave us all the details. The six- to eight-carat ring is worth six figures, according to the brand's creative director, Maxwell Stone.
"Initially, there was some uncertainty about whether the diamond was round or cushion cut, but recent photos reveal it's a gorgeous cushion cut," Stone shared in a statement to Cosmo. "The brilliant stone is elegantly set on a refined pave band, adding to its timeless beauty." He estimated that Brenda's ring is valued at around $600,000 because of its "exceptional quality."
Stone even got into the sweet meaning behind the diamond. "Known for their timeless elegance and enduring sparkle, cushion-cut diamonds symbolize a love that grows stronger with each passing year—much like Brenda and Macaulay's lasting relationship, which is built on years of shared moments and unwavering commitment," he added.
