Has 'Frasier' Been Canceled or Will There Be a Season 3 of the Reboot?
Paramount+ has cancelled the Frasier reboot, starring Kelsey Grammer as psychiatrist Frasier Crane, after two seasons. CBS Studios, which produces the sitcom, will shop the series, which debuted in October 2023, to other platforms, Variety reports.
The reboot of Frasier saw Kelsey Grammer in a new incarnation of the famed TV and radio shrink when he returned to Boston, where it all began on Cheers, to reconnect with his estranged son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott).
To do so, Frasier took a teaching job at Harvard, where he was reunited with his longtime friend and fellow professor Alan (Nicholas Lyndhurst). Also at Harvard was Frasier’s department head, Olivia (Toks Olagundoye).
Rounding out the cast was Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s friend and roommate Eve and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David, Niles and Daphne’s son.
Has Frasier been canceled?
As reported above, there will not be a third season of Frasier on Paramount+, but CBS Studios is hoping to still sell the sitcom to another network or streamer for a Season 3.

How did Season 2 of Frasier end?
Season 2 ended with a Christmas episode. Frasier threw a party, but it was a solemn affair with Freddy, Alan, Olivia, Roz (Peri Gilpin), Roz’s daughter Alice (Kelsey’s real-life daughter Greer Grammer), Kelsey’s girlfriend Holly (Patricia Heaton), when a Christmas miracle occurred. Alan’s long-estranged daughter Nora showed up and introduced him to his baby granddaughter.

Anders Keith stars as Frasier's nephew, David, the awkward son of Niles Crane and Daphne Moon.
