Former Disney star Skai Jackson welcomes first baby with boyfriend
The "Jessie" alum shared her newborn's name on Instagram.
Disney alum Skai Jackson is taking on the role of a lifetime: mom.
The 22-year-old actress, best known for her four seasons on Jessie, has just welcomed her first baby. Jackson announced the news with a sweet and simple Instagram post, sharing a photo of her newborn baby's hands in hers with the caption, "Kasai."
Representatives for Jackson did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.
The news comes two months after Jackson first confirmed her pregnancy to PEOPLE in April 2024, sharing that she was welcoming the child with her boyfriend, whose name she did not disclose.
"I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects," Jackson said at the time. "My heart is so full!”

The actress previously spoke to the outlet about her relationship with her own mother, Kiya Cole, who raised her and helped her achieve her Hollywood dreams as a single mom.
"[My mom] always taught me to stand up for myself, stand up for what I believe in and fight for what is right,” she said in 2023. “I thank her for that because without her, I probably wouldn't have a lot of the confidence that I do now.”
