The Los Angeles County D.A.'s office is declining to file charges against former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson following her arrest on suspicion of domestic battery, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
The Jessie star, 22, was arrested on Aug. 8 at Universal Studios in California, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department previously confirmed. She was taken to the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station and later released.
"Skai is relieved that the investigation revealed that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding. We appreciate that the DA determined very quickly that there should be no charges of any kind and Skai looks forward to putting this behind her," a rep for Jackson tells PEOPLE.

Police responded to the theme park after security personnel detained Jackson, and deputies reviewed surveillance footage they allege captured Jackson pushing the victim. There were no weapons involved nor any identifiable injuries, added the sheriff's department at the time.
Jackson previously played Zuri Ross on Jessie and its spinoff Bunk'd. In 2019, she released her book, Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower and Clapback and appeared on Dancing With the Stars in 2020.
