First look at Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy on The Voice 2021
Channel Seven has released an epic first look at the 2021 season of The Voice Australia, featuring new coaches Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy.
The two female pop stars join returning judges Keith Urban and Guy Sebastian in what is said to be a “refreshed and reimagined” series.
The new teaser features the all-star judging panel belting out to Justin Timberlake’s global hit Can’t Stop The Feeling.
Rita Ora kicks off the trailer, rocking up in a pink Cadillac before joining the other celebrities to sing the 2016 pop song.
The promo video was filmed over two days across six locations from ARIA Award-winning director James Chappell.
Channel Seven have promised that the 10th season of The Voice Australia will feature the “strongest ever line-up of artists competing for the illustrious title”.
In a statement from the network, new coach Rita Ora spoke about joining the singing competition show and recording the larger-than-life film clip.
“I can’t think of a better way to launch a season this big than with a promo so fabulous,” she said.
“Everything from the song, my pink Cadillac and the powerhouse location was absolutely breathtaking. It takes an army to pull together a shoot like this and the team were so on point.”

Jessica Mauboy, who is also making her debut as a coach this season, said that filming the promo with Rita, Keith and Guy was “a dream come true”.
“We are used to filming music videos for our solo careers, so being able to stand alongside three other incredible performers and share this moment was surreal,” she said.
“Performing this incredible song with my dear friend Guy and getting to perform with my new Coach family Keith and Rita was beyond.”
Fans took to Instagram to express their excitement for the refreshed season with new coaches.
“Great line up of judges,” one person wrote. “Looking forward to this year.”
“So excited it’s not even funny,” another added.
A third commented: “Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian have a great understanding of the journey and the change this moment can do for someone, but with that said Rita Ora and Keith Urban have a story and a journey also! I’m excited to see what it will look like.”
Others online have said that they are disappointed the talent from former seasons won’t be returning on the judging panel.
“No Boy George means I’m not watching,” someone posted.
“Won’t be the same without Delta and Kelly,” another person wrote.
The upcoming season of The Voice Australia will be hosted by Sonia Kruger, and will premiere on Channel Seven after the Olympics.
