First Dates fans slam woman's 'disgusting' act: 'Plain rude'

First Dates viewers have taken to social media to share their outrage over a 'disgusting' act by one of the participants.

Latika and Sage hadn't had the best date with Latika clearly uninterested in anything Sage had to say, and while this normally wouldn't be such a big deal, she soon turned all her attention to the pair's waitress and began openly flirting with her.

While the waitress told Latika she doesn't go on dates, it didn't stop the dating show participant from gifting the flowers Sage had given her to the waitress and asking for her number in front of him once the date was over.

Sage and another member of the waitstaff awkwardly waited at the door with Latika being let down as the waitress said she actually had a partner.

During the date, Latika admitted to the cameras, "If I had a Bumble profile, I would not match with [Sage]."

Sage could tell throughout the date that Latika had been "100 per cent" flirting with their waitress.

As they were leaving, Latika questioned where her flowers were, before telling Sage: "I'm gonna give them to the waitress, actually."

As she handed the flowers to the waitress, she told her: "I liked you better than my date, so thank you."

Despite not getting her number, Latika still told the cameras she'd prefer to go out with the waitress over Sage.

"What can you say when someone does something like that?" Sage asked the cameras.

"So nice for you, but not so nice to her date," the bartender said to the waitress after witnessing the moment.

"Oh, I feel really bad for her date now," the waitress said.

"I hope she enjoys the flowers," Sage joked to the cameras.

Twitter users shared their disgust with one user writing, "Latika says she doesn’t know why she’s single but I bet the rest of Australia does."

"Oh well, Latika's just made sure she'll be single for the next 6 years," another wrote.

"Latika you don’t deserve this lovely bloke," a third added.

"Latika fell out of the superb***h tree and hit every branch on the way down," another joked.

"She could [have] just taken the flowers home and thrown them out rather than doing that giving them away in front of his face it's so rude," one person added.

"Awww... Sage watching Latika give the flowers to the waitress," someone else wrote with a gif describing the situation as "plain rude".

"Ooft the sympathy pat on the shoulder from the door guy as Sage was leaving," another added.

"Sage, make Latika pay for the whole bill. She's monstrous!" one viewer wrote.

Others described her as "disgusting" and "rude", while some joked that they'd soon see her on Married At First Sight or Love Island.
