'You f***ing idiot': Aussie model's shock First Dates meltdown

Aussie model Simone Holtznagel made a splash on First Date’s last night, and probably not for the reasons she hoped.

The former reality star shot to fame on Australia’s Next Top Model, returned to the screen for I’m a Celeb in 2018, and last night had a crack at love on Seven’s First Dates.

To say the Bras N Things model’s appearance did not go smoothly may be an understatement.

Her date, Peter forgot her name and the mistake sent the night into a nosedive.

Seriously offended, the LA-based model retired to the bathroom where she was caught in a fiery rant over the phone to a friend.

“Do you think I should leave?” she asks her friend, going on to explain the story.

“The bastard didn’t remember my name. I don’t know if he was distracted or if he’s just stupid,” Simone said, slurring her words slightly and with the phone on loudspeaker.

“I need to be able to make a quick and clean escape.”

“Like, that’s f**king huge strike against you,” she continued in a piece-to-camera.

“If you fail at that, like what else do you have going for you?”

In perhaps her most shocking statement, Simone told the camera exactly what she thought of the prospect of a second date with the recruitment worker.

“The only second date I go on with Peter is if I’m on the cover of a magazine, and he’s delivering it somewhere,” she said, presumably turning down the prospect.

Returning to the table, Simone waited for the bill to be brought out before polishing off her wine, abruptly walking out, and leaving Peter alone with the bill to foot.

“What a way to f*** things up you f***ing idiot,” she told the camera after the walkout while holding a glass of wine.

Fans slam storm out, say Peter ‘dodged a bullet’

Fans of the show were less than impressed with Simone’s display, slamming her as conceited and rude.

“Not sure who Simone Holtznagel believes herself to be but she was a complete b*tch on (First Dates),” one woman wrote following the episode, a sentiment many agreed with.

Others supported Peter who was left on his lonesome.

“Peter, you're lovely. Simone is too far up her own ar*e,” one woman wrote.

“Peter dodged a bullet,” another agreed.
