SPOILER ALERT: Ziara Rae admits she never had any doubts about who she would choose at the end.

Warning: This article contains spoilers about the outcome of FBoy Island.

FBoy Island's highly-anticipated finale saw Ziara Rae finally reveal who she wanted to enter into a relationship with - but it turns out she had already made her decision weeks earlier.

The 21-year-old model tells Yahoo Lifestyle that from the very first episode she knew her winner would be Izaya Leota, who she is still dating three months after filming wrapped.

“I knew from the second I walked in it was him,” she confesses. “There was never a doubt in my mind I was going to pick him, but I did have doubts about whether we were going to last in the real world.

“But I think because Sophie [Blackley] and Molly [O’Halloran] are a little bit older than me they had to keep reminding me that it's not marriage. They were like, ‘You can just see how it goes and just have fun and pick who you really like’, and I was like, ‘Alright, that’s what I’m going to do’.”

Ziara admits there were plenty of moments shared with Izaya during filming that never made it to air because the result would have been “way too obvious”.

I would get to every mixer and be like to my producer, ‘Can you let me know when we've got 10 minutes at the end so I can go and find him?’,” she laughs. “We'd go hide somewhere and make out. We were just all over each other all the time and I wasn’t like that with anybody else.”

Izaya adds: “Pretty much every time that I got time at the mixer we’d just be cuddling, not even talking about normal relationship stuff. We’d just act like we’ve already been dating.

“Obviously them cutting it is a good thing because you want people to guess, but I'll be looking at mixers and be like, ‘That’s where we were cuddling’.”

Speaking about the explosive moments that did make it to air, Ziara says she found it “very confronting” to see what the other men were doing and saying behind her back.

“We did have one of the executive producers call us the day before [the premiere] and just kind of give us a little bit of a rundown about Caleb [Duncan]’s comments and obviously that Justin [McNairn] was lying the entire time,” she details.

“I also had no idea about Darcy [Looker] and Cory [Brown]’s fight or how possessive Cory was, so that was almost scary to see. I was just like, I didn't even know these guys! So I definitely found myself calling Molly and Sophie because we're all going through it together and being able to debrief with them was really, really good.”

Ziara adds that she feels “sick” thinking about how close she and Caleb became during filming after being made aware of his derogatory remarks about Molly.

“I honestly found Caleb funny and confident and I was like, he's perfect for the show,” she says. “I knew he was an FBoy the entire time but I was just kind of like, I can’t have all nice guys, we need to have a little bit of spice in there.

“I really started to like him and watching back the comments and how much he's just doubling down and his confessionals as well was pretty confronting to see. I’m glad I didn't get too invested.”

Now that the season has come to an end, Ziara and Izaya are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for their relationship and already have plans to spend their shared $50,000 prize money on a trip to Bali.

I just want to take her on a date, take her out, show her off,” he says. “I just want to show off my trophy, but I can't because we signed NDAs.”

“We’re going to go away for a month and we’ll just see what happens,” she adds. “We're just really taking it day by day, and I think that's what I love about our relationship, that it's the great unknown.”
