FBoy Island spoiler: Sophie reveals why she's no longer with her winner
SPOILER ALERT: Sophie Blackley spills on why she and her chosen man aren’t together.
Warning: This article contains spoilers about the outcome of FBoy Island.
Sophie Blackley and Joshy Allen had an instant connection when they first met on the Abbie Chatfield-hosted reality show FBoy Island, so viewers weren't too shocked when she chose to pursue a relationship with him during this week’s final episode.
What is surprising, however, is the fact the pair are no longer together just three months on from when filming wrapped.
“We’re very strong friends that could or could not lead to anything more,” the 26-year-old tells Yahoo Lifestyle.
“We still talk, we’re still really good friends, and I think if anything, the best outcome for me is that we're going to be friends for life. I think we’re very similar people with good chemistry.”

Reformed ‘FBoy’ Joshy, who chose to split the $50,000 prize money with Sophie instead of taking it all for himself, adds that their work and the distance between them have made it difficult to continue building a relationship.
“We were pretty mature about it, we were just like, look, we get along really well, we don't want to bring anything that's going to be pressure and stress us out and then we turn against each other and get annoyed at each other or anything like that,” he shares.
“You never know what the future holds, but we just definitely wanted to keep that momentum of that friendship going and just kind of respect each other in that way and just be mature about it in a way as well.”
Sophie's relationship with her runner-up
While she’s not currently in a romantic relationship with Joshy, Sophie reveals that she hasn’t been in contact with her runner-up Justin McNairn after discovering through the show that he had been lying to her.
The male entertainer made a comment during the first episode that he wasn’t attracted to any of the three women, but repeatedly denied it when the other men tried to confront him about it.
“I have never had someone look into my eye and genuinely say, ‘I didn't say that’, so for me, I was like, ‘Wow, okay, that just happened’,” Sophie says.

“I was angry about it because I did choose to believe him at the time. I've chosen to try and keep my distance [from him] while the show's airing because I've got to respect that everyone went on a dating show that's called FBoy Island, so you can't get too mad at these guys for saying what they said.
“I'm just kind of like, ‘Okay, good game guys’. Moving forward we can choose to be in each other's lives or we can choose to not be, so I don't know, I haven't really thought about it. I've just been focusing on the positive sides to it which is Joshy and the two girls.”
