Fashionably Late Lil’ Kim Commits to Corsets in Two Looks at New York Fashion Week for Christian Siriano’s Spring 2025 Show and After-party
Christian Siriano hosted his ready-to-wear spring 2025 show on Friday in New York City, with a front row packed full of A-list stars. While the show was already underway, Lil’ Kim swept in fashionably late. The rapper sat alongside Tiffany Haddish, Christina Hendricks, Selma Blair and Cyndi Lauper, who told WWD the designer is creating looks for her upcoming tour.
For the show, Lil’ Kim was dressed in a striking gold ensemble by the designer. The look featured a glittering, structured gold corset paired with a matching floor-length coat, which she draped over her shoulders. The corset’s laced front added a sultry touch, while the sheer, black floral-patterned leggings underneath created a dramatic contrast.

She accessorized with oversized black sunglasses, adding to the glam factor, and finished off the look with a nude lip.
The rapper saw Siriano bring to life a Grimms fairytale fantasy for his spring 2025 message. “While there were a few asymmetrical takes on suiting, a category he says is strong, the mostly gown lineup seemed a bit long winded, with several riffs on the same silhouettes within the same black color story,” WWD’s Thomas Waller said in a review of the collection.
Later that evening, Lil’ Kim made a second appearance at Siriano’s after-party, making a daring style statement in another Siriano outfit. This time, she opted for a sheer black bodysuit adorned with intricate floral detailing. The bodysuit was paired with an avant-garde, oversized tulle shoulder piece that added futuristic, mysterious allure. Lil’ Kim completed the look with another pair of oversized sunglasses and a bold red lip.
