McCarthy has reportedly already lost 50lbs since she started her weight-loss journey in June and all her hard work is definitely evident in this campaign, as she models her own plus-size clothing herself.

The funny woman launched her Seven7 clothing line in August and it features all types of fashions for women from size 4 to 28.

Speaking in her brand brief just before the launch, McCarthy spoke out about the lack of clothing options for women over a certain size in the US.

“I don’t understand why if you’re a certain size, designers think your taste level goes down and you have less money to spend,” she said.

“The quality and construction is often so bad.

"Finding a great T-shirt or a great cigarette pant in a good fabric is next to impossible.

"Plus-size clothes are often really cheap and either look young or incredibly old.”

The star took a stance against the current retail market and decided to launch her own line, which is going from strength to strength.

Speaking to Refinery29, McCarthy said she could not fathom why nearly 70 per cent of the population were struggling to find good, affordable and trendy clothes.

"Seventy per cent of women in the United States are a size 14 or above, and that’s technically "plus-size," so you’re taking your biggest category of people and telling them, "You’re not really worthy," she said.

"It doesn’t make a lot of sense numbers-wise."
