Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards' daughters Lola and Sami Sheen think 'tiger blood' is a snow cone flavor
"I’ve never talked to them about that," Richards said.
Charlie Sheen's daughters aren't familiar with one of their dad's most infamous quotes.
Denise Richards got candid in a PEOPLE interview alongside her daughters with the Two and a Half Men star, Lola and Sami Sheen — and the kids suggested that they don't know that their father claimed he had "tiger blood" in 2011.
"The only thing that rings a bell with tiger blood is a snow cone flavor, that’s about it," Sami Sheen, 20, said in the interview.
"Yeah, same," Lola Sheen, 19, agreed.
Richards said that she didn't keep her kids in the loop regarding their father's wilder statements. “I’ve never talked to them about that," she said of the "tiger blood" catchphrase.
After going to rehab in 2011, Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men and gave a series of bizarre interviews, including one with ABC's 20/20 where he claimed, "I have a different brain, I have a different heart. I'm different. I got tiger blood, man."
The Platoon star has since expressed regret over his meltdown. "People have [said to] me, 'Hey, man, that was so cool, that was so fun to watch. That was so cool to be a part of and support and all that energy and, you know, we stuck it to the man," the actor told Yahoo Entertainment in 2021. "My thought behind that is, 'Oh, yeah, great. I'm so glad that I traded early retirement for a f---ing hashtag.'"

Sami Sheen and Lola SheenRichards filed for divorce from Sheen while pregnant with Lola in 2005. Now, the Starship Troopers actress is starring in a reality series, Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, alongside Sami, Lola, and her youngest daughter, Eloise, whom she adopted in 2013.
Elsewhere in the interview, Sami Sheen reflected on how it felt to grow up with celebrity parents. “People always say, What’s it like having famous parents?'" she said. "I don’t know. They are my parents. It’s not weird or anything. I always said it would be so weird if I walked into a bank and they were working there — or a Starbucks or a regular job. That would be more out of the ordinary than seeing them on TV, because that’s all we know.”
However, the kids aren't particularly familiar with some of their parents' best-known work. "I've always been told to never watch Wild Things," Sami Sheen said. "I'm not allowed to watch it. You've always told me not to. Even though it's the name of our frickin' reality show."

Richards confirmed she forbids her daughters from watching the film. "If there's maybe a PG version, then she can, but I don't even know how they would make a PG version," she said.
Lola Sheen also said that she has almost no familiarity with her dad's work. "My dad — though I've seen a couple of episodes of Two and a Half Men — that's really it," she said. "I really don't remember Two and a Half Men."
Sami shared a similar sentiment. "Sometimes Two and a Half Men will come on at a hotel — if I put the TV on, it's there," she said. "So I'll put it on just to see what it is."

Each of the Sheen daughters have seen at least one of their mom's movies, though, as Sami Sheen said that she's seen Starship Troopers, and Lola Sheen noted that she has watched Drop Dead Gorgeous.
