Fans Slam Morgan Wallen Over Latest Concert Update: 'Makes Me Mad'
Morgan Wallen fans aren't happy with his new ticket prices.
After the country crooner delighted his listeners by announcing the news of his brand-new 2025 I'm The Problem Tour, feelings of excitement were quickly deflated due to exorbitantly high ticket prices.
Tickets for the new tour went on sale Friday, Jan. 31, but hopeful fans were disappointed that prices were much higher than expected.
According to one irritated user on X (formerly Twitter), tickets were priced at over $900 for the pit and $1500 for platinum tickets (not including fees).
"Morgan Wallen ticket prices are outrageous," that same user wrote.
"Morgan Wallen what the HELL are those ticket prices," someone else tweeted.
Another added, "I love Morgan wallen, but his tickets being that stupid high makes me mad."
Holy shit! Morgan Wallen ticket prices are outrageous. $1500 for platinum tix, pre-fees. $900+ for THE PIT!? It's not like he's hauling round a circus of special effects. It's a straightforward gig
Ticketmaster sucks, the whole system needs an overhaul, including hidden fees…— Lia L'Assassin ★ Nutcracker Sweet (@Design_Assassin) January 30, 2025
A notice on the Ticketmaster website says that tickets for Wallen's show have been "priced in advance by the tour." Those prices range from $59.75 to $1,499. However, it's unclear whether Wallen's team opted in to Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing, allowing the site to change prices during the sale depending on demand.
Plus, many of the tickets available on the site are listed as "Verified Resale," meaning that resellers were already able to get their hands on tickets, and are likely pricing them even higher to earn profit.
As a result, many fans directed their anger at Ticketmaster as well, including one person who called the site "absolutely despicable" while claiming "scalpers are already reselling for multiple thousand."

Fans have grown increasingly frustrated with Ticketmaster—especially those who tried to secure tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour or Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour.
"The Taylor Swift Effect has taken over the Morgan Wallen tour today," one user on X claimed. "People chanting in their heads, must go broke, can't afford rent, must buy concert tickets 9 months from now."
"I despise what the live music industry's become," another user wrote online.
