Fans Can't Help But 'Giggle' Over Travis Kelce's Sneaky Taylor Swift Shoutout During His Acting Debut
It seems Taylor Swift is always on Travis Kelce's mind, even while on the set of Ryan Murphy's latest show Grotesquerie.
During a scene in his series debut, which came during the third episode on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a not-so-subtle (at least to fans) nod to his superstar girlfriend—who also happens to be known as a pretty good baker.

Kelce took on the role of a flirtatious hospital orderly named Ed Laclan in the FX series. After helping Niecy Nash-Betts’ character, Detective Lois Tryon, out of a tight spot, the woman offered to bake Ed a cake to repay his kindness. But he proposed a different kind of confection instead.
“You know what I like?" he asked. "Pop-Tarts without the frosting.”
It's unclear, of course, if Kelce improvised the line himself or if it was written for him. But having recently revealed that he thinks Swift "makes a great pop-tart"—as does Andy Reid and the rest of the team—it seems to be a shoutout to his lover—one that left Swifties spiraling.
"POP TART MENTION HELLO," one wrote emphatically in all-caps alongside a clip of the scene, while another declared that it was "so cutesy of him" to bring up.

Others pointed out that the preference "sounds familiar" and "kinda specific" to be a mere coincidence.

Fans were essentially left swinging their feet over the sweet reference, with one writing that they "giggled gaggled cackled" over the line.
Swift swiftly followed up the gesture with a shoutout of her own, dispelling recent breakup rumors while dropping a new collection on her merch site that appeared to be named after the athlete.
