Yahoo Lifestyle Everyone Just Realized Princess Charlotte Wore a Necklace Made by Prince Harry's Ex-Girlfriend on Christmas
The royal family recently stepped for a public walk to Church on Christmas day, an annual event wherein everyone dresses up in coordinating outfits to be given candy by random fans who have been waiting in the freezing cold for hours. And apparently the internet just noticed that Princess Charlotte was wearing a cute ruby necklace that's seemingly designed by none other than Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy (reminder: these two dated somewhat tumultuously from 2004 to 2010).
According to the The Daily Mail (via The Sun), Charlotte is allegedly wearing a $1,800 necklace from Chelsy's brand Aya (though it's no longer available).
Before you start side-eyeing Prince William and Kate Middleton for deciding to dress Charlotte in a necklace from Prince Harry's ex (especially given their fraught history of late), just FYI that Chelsy has remained close to the royals. She was even invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding:
According to Vanity Fair royal reporter Katie Nicholl, while Chelsy was invited to the wedding, she wasn't invited to Harry and Meghan's after party / reception, which Harry explained to her in a pre-wedding phone call. “It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on," Nicholl wrote. "Chelsy was quite emotional about it all, she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding. In the end, she went and promised Harry she wouldn’t try and gatecrash the party.”
