Easing of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions has not only meant bars and restaurants are back open but spring racing fashion is back in play.
Some of Australia’s most influential celebrities made their way to Royal Randwick racecourse in Sydney on Saturday for The Everest.
One of the first to rock up was former Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson and her husband, Cam Merchant.
Jules is a spring fashion stakes ambassador for the Australian Turf Club, where she’ll be judging the fashion on the field alongside stylist Donny Galella, hairstylist Peter Thomsen and Home and Away actress Sophie Dillman.
The former reality star looked stunning in a cobalt blue lace dress and matching headpiece by Somewhere Here Now.
She matched her outfit with a pair of glittering earrings from Cerrone Jewellers and a pair of nude heels from Sole Shoes.
Samantha Armytage arrived at the event on the arm of her husband, Richard Lavendar. The pair are keen racing enthusiasts and looked delighted to be there on the day.
Sam, who just announced she is making her way back to the small screen and will be appearing on the 2022 season of Farmer Wants A Wife, wore a black and white patterned long-sleeved dress to the racecourse.
She accessorised with a gold headband and a pair of pearl earrings.
Sonia Kruger made an entrance in a gold one shoulder gown with perspex heels.
She carried an oversized white bag and donned a pair of oversized shades for the occasion.
Fashion and lifestyle writer Kate Waterhouse dazzled in a white lace dress by Scanlan Theodore, a pair of blue heels and a Fendi bag.
Spring fashion stakes ambassador for the Australian Turf Club Sophie Dillman, who plays Ziggy in the long-running soapHome and Away, arrived with her partner, fellow Home and Away actor Patrick O'Connor.
Sophie looked radiant in a black and blue floral patterned dressed by Glam Corner, a headpiece by Nerida Winter, a Gucci bag and Jan Logan jewellery.
Radio presenter Emma Freedman looked delighted to be on the racing day scene as she posted a photo to Instagram showing her gorgeous look.
Emma wore a bright green Carla Zampatti suit and a statement blue and green headpiece by Sylvy Earl.
SAS Australia recruit and AFL player Heath Shaw showed up at Royal Randwick looking dapper in a grey tweed blazer, a white shirt and black tie.
He matched the look with black trousers and a pair of black shoes for the occasion.
AFL star Buddy Franklin opted for a green suit as he rocked up to the racecourse in Sydney.
He paired his forrest green attire with a matching tie and black sunglasses.
