Eva Marcille Attempts to Escape Heartache with Girls Trip to Vietnam in Peacock's New Series, “Eat Slay Love”
The new series — also starring Nivea, Tammy Rivera and London Hughes — premieres Thursday, Nov. 7 on the streaming network
When it comes to girls trips, Will Packer and Peacock know what they're doing.
The producer who brought viewers the beloved comedy Girls Trip has teamed up with the network behind The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip for a new reality series, Eat Slay Love, following a group of four friends on a getaway to Vietnam.
These aren't just any friends, of course. The three-episode series, which premieres on Nov. 7, will follow Grammy-nominated singer Nivea and her girl gang – model Eva Marcille (The Real Housewives of Atlanta, America’s Next Top Model ), singer Tammy Rivera (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta) and comedian London Hughes (London Hughes: To Catch a D----).
A trailer for the series dropped on Thursday, Oct. 31, showing the friend group laughing, fighting and bonding their way through Southeast Asia.
"I would consider the four ingredients of good girls trip to be us," Nivea says in the clip. "You’ve got the funny one (London), you've got the emotional one (Eva), the fashionista (Tammy), and you got me: the crazy one! And we’re heading to Vietnam for my birthday!"

The ingredients are there, alright. Each of the women seem to get vulnerable as they immerse themselves in the vibrant Vietnamese culture, using the vacation as an opportunity to rejuvenate themselves, heal from heartache, strengthen friendships and reevaluate their priorities back home.
"I flew across the world to escape all of what my heart is going through," says Marcelle, who finalized her divorce from ex Michael Sterling in August 2023 (she's mom to three kids: Marley Rae, 9, Michael Jr., 5, and Maverick, 4 — the later two who she shared with Sterling and the first from her former partner, ex, Kevin McCall). "I was not prepared."
"I am going through a spiritual awakening," Nivea adds, as footage plays of her nearly collapsing in front of a giant gold statue. "That was a beautiful and humbling moment for me."

But, this being reality TV, despite all they learn about themselves, differences of opinions and misunderstandings still leads to conflict.
"I'km literally watching my girls trip go down the drain." Nivea says in the trailer, as Rivera and Hughes clash.
"London," Marcille shouts after Hughes as she walks away. "We did not come here for that."
Will the ladies get back on track before their trip comes to an end? Viewers will have to watch it all go down on Eat Slay Love, which premieres Thursday, Nov. 7 on Peacock.
