English Footballer Jack Grealish and Partner Sasha Attwood Welcome First Baby: See the First Photo!

The soccer star and childhood sweetheart Sasha Attwood welcomed a daughter in late September

Jack Grealish has one new member to add to his team.

The British footballer, who plays for the Manchester City and England national teams, announced on Instagram that he and his girlfriend, Sasha Attwood, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Mila Rose Grealish, on Friday, Sept. 27.

The Monday, Oct. 7 post included a black-and-white photo of the baby girl’s tiny hand holding onto one of her parents' pinky fingers.

“Mila Rose Grealish 🩵. 27/09/24,” the soccer star simply captioned the post.

Several of his current and former teammates congratulated the new parents in the comment section.

Current Manchester teammate Marcus Rashford commented, “❤️.”

“❤️😍,” wrote England national teammate and Premier League club Arsenal player Declan Rice. Arsenal player Alex Zinchenko added, “Congrats to you both brother ❤️.”

Aston Villa player Ross Barkley commented: "Congrats lad.”

Attwood posted the same image of the newborn to her Instagram account as well. “27/09/24 Mila Rose Grealish 🩷. The most special moment of my life ✨,” she captioned her Oct. 7 Instagram post.

Attwood's followers celebrated the couple’s new addition in the comment section. "Good job mamma I'm so glad you're both well!!! Sending you so much love,” wrote one user.

“Girl mum!!!!💖💖💖💖. so so happy for you darling. Welcome to the best chapter yet!!! Xxx,” another added.

The new parents first met when they were students at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Secondary School in Solihull, England. The couple started dating when they were 16, but have had an on-and-off again relationship through the years, per The Irish Mirror.

The pair announced that they were expecting in July, posting a sweet photo of Grealish holding Attwood’s growing baby bump on Instagram. “Half of me, half of you—beyond blessed ✨🤍🙏🏻,” Attwood captioned the photo.

Meanwhile, Grealish posted the same photo, but captioned it, “Life’s biggest blessing 👶🏻🩵.”

After the initial announcement, Attwood shared several photos of her growing baby bump, including the couple’s maternity photo shoot in late September.
