I’ve been at PEOPLE for 20 years now, but this is my first awards season as GM and editor-in-chief. With the Golden Globes, the Grammys and the upcoming Oscars, I’m really racking up the frequent-flier miles!

But at PEOPLE, the highlight of this marathon season is always the Screen Actors Guild Awards. This was the 27th year that People has partnered with SAG to host the official post-awards gala—and this year was better than ever! We were honored to host SAG winners including Demi Moore, Timothée Chalamet and the casts of Shōgun and Conclave, who stopped by the City National Bank engraving station with their actor statuettes.

Thank you so much to our cohost Audi, as well as designer Tony Schubert of Event Eleven and David Chang, chef and founder of Momofuku, who created the menu. And I was delighted to see our first-responder guests dancing after all they’ve done to protect Los Angeles this year.

We also tried a little something new at SAG this year. For PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly’s Red Carpet Live preshow, we invited Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fashion aficionada Bronwyn Newport to be our style correspondent.
