Dreyer, 43, shared a photo on Instagram on Nov. 10 of what she and her three sons, Calvin ("Cal"), 7, Oliver ("Ollie"), 4 and Russell ("Rusty"), 2, were doing on a Sunday morning.
The three boys and Dreyer beamed brightly at the camera as they sat around a table playing Scrabble. “This is called a lesson in patience first thing on a Sunday morning,” she captioned the post, and fellow parents in the comments immediately understood what she was talking about.
“Oh for sure lol💙💙💙,” wrote one fan, while another replied, “Lol. And if that's your first cup of coffee, you're really implementing patience!” More fans agreed, writing, “Good thing you have coffee,” and “Omg...it truly is. Why are kids obsessed with board games first thing in the a.m. more ☕.”
“I have such great memories of Scrabble with my daughter! It got competitive as she grew older 😂,” a fan shared, with another commenter chiming in that they “remember those days so well❤️ cherish them Dylan!!! you’re an awesome mama❤️.”
Dreyer also shared in the comments that the family had been up for hours, having attended a 7:30 a.m. religious service. “Just saw a quote that said ‘motherhood is accepting the fact that 9am is no longer morning, it is actually mid afternoon,’” one fan commented.
Several eagle-eyed fans noticed a drink cart in the corner loaded with a variety of spirits and suggested that it could help Dreyer through the board game.
“That cart in the corner has something you can add to your coffee for patience on a Sunday morning. #mumof4boyshere,” wrote one fan, prompting another to reply that they “mouthed the same thing. 😏.” “Good to see the booze is close at hand,” teased a third.
