Drew Barrymore and Chloë Sevigny Had 'the Sexiest' Kiss in a Bathroom During the '90s: 'We Were Very Free'
Drew Barrymore and Chloë Sevigny turned an anecdote about a kiss they once shared into a trivia game on 'The Drew Barrymore Show'
Drew Barrymore and Chloë Sevigny are reliving the '90s.
Sevigny, 49, appeared on the Wednesday, Oct. 2 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, where host Barrymore, 49, revealed they once kissed in a bathroom at the Los Angeles Sunset Marquis Hotel.
“We had a really amazing hang time at the Sunset Marquis Hotel. We were getting together, we had a long dinner, we were talking about a story that I’m so passionate about, which ended up becoming a film that Chloë was not only in but got nominated for an Academy Award for called Boys Don’t Cry," Barrymore explained. "That was a bond for us.”
The talk show host then told her audience and Sevigny that she wished "to turn our intimate fun moment in the Sunset Marquis into a trivia question for someone," to which Sevigny obliged. The pair quickly identified a woman in the studio audience. "So Chloe and I shared something in a bathroom that night and if you can get it right we'd love for you to win $500 because that would be fun," Barrymore prompted, before quickly upping that total to $1,000.
“We shared something in the bathroom in the ‘90s. What was it?” she asked. The three available options for answers were lipstick, toilet paper and a kiss.
The audience member ultimately selected lipstick as her answer. "Well, it did involve lipstick," Barrymore said, per Entertainment Weekly. "It was the '90s!" Sevigny added, to which Barrymore agreed.

"It was a kiss,” Barrymore added as she and Sevigny laughed together. “We were very free and just having the best time and it was just the sexiest, cutest."
Though Barrymore's audience member did not answer the question correctly, the host gifted her the $1,000 regardless and asked her to spend it on lipstick. “Go out and buy a bunch of lipsticks, okay?” she asked.
Sevigny's hit series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is streaming on Netflix.
