Donald Glover Postpones Remaining Childish Gambino Tour Dates to 'Focus on My Physical Health'

Donald Glover has postponed the rest of his Childish Gambino tour dates in North America to focus on his health.

On Monday, Sept. 9, the Solo: A Star Wars Story actor—who also performs as a music artist under the name Childish Gambino—took to X to announce the news.

"hey everyone. unfortunately i have to postpone the rest of the north american tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks," he wrote on the social media platform, encouraging fans to "hold onto" their tickets.

He continued, "ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in north america when they are rescheduled. thanks for the privacy. thanks for the support. thanks for the love."

Glover, 40, didn't offer details about his physical ailment. However, fans flocked to the comments with words of support.

One X user wrote, "GET BETTER SOON DONALD Take all the time that you need."

Another fan commented, "HEALTH IS WEALTH!!!! TAKE CARE," while someone else echoed, "Focus on your health more than anything."

Meanwhile, a different X user made a reasonable suggestion, writing, "Hope you get better bro. Please offer a refund option if you can."

Glover's New World Tour began on Aug. 11 in Oklahoma before traveling to cities like Milwaukee, Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Nashville, Atlanta and New Orleans.

Previously, the Community star postponed his Sept. 8 concert in Houston "due to illness," he shared via X.

As of writing, the New World Tour's international tour dates in late 2024 and 2025 are not affected.
