The man behind the epic photo, posted to a Starbucks fan group, captioned the image, "Life is short, so enjoy breaking the rules" – a sentiment that seems to resonate with everyone's secret desire for an enormous caffeine fix.

The image stirred up quite a buzz online over the sheer size of this mind-boggling beverage, with many curious about the legitimacy of the supersized drink and whether it is indeed an official Starbucks product they can rush out to purchase themselves.

Enthusiastic caffeine addicts were quick to express their excitement, with one person even declaring they'd pay a "ridiculous amount" to get their hands on this gigantic cup o'joe.

The comments poured in, with an overwhelming chorus of "omggg we need!!" and unanimous agreement of "I want one!!" resonating among the crowd. One group member couldn't help but wonder, "Do they even have those big of cups cause I'm going to need that!"

However, not everyone was ready to take on such a titanic caffeine boost, with one witty commenter laughing about what that much iced coffee would do to their digestive system, "I’d have diarrhoea for months!" they said.

A group member suggested the photos were panoramic shots, but the original poster denied it, sharing a photo holding the drink. Photo: Facebook

"Indeed life will be short with this," chimed in someone else, while another person joked, "Life is short, enjoy diabetes."

However, what the internet giveth, the internet also taketh away. Just when we thought the coffee gods had answered our caffeine prayers, some eagle-eyed Starbucks fans pointed out that the photo might not be all that it seems.

One person claiming to be a Starbucks employee wrote, "We do not sell this size in the US or anything similar to the shape of this cup? Honestly I’m confused on what’s going on here I think they might’ve stacked 2 ventis on top of each other maybe?"

A keen observer went on to explain that this colossal concoction might be a clever illusion, clarifying, "It's two drinks stacked on top of each other with the drink sleeve covering where they are stacked. It’s a flat lid on the cup, with the other cup stacked on top. My Starbucks does this all the time as a joke."
