Detail in reality star Molly-Mae Hague's snap leaves fans fuming: 'Please no more!'
The glamorous star from Love Island UK is facing a wave of criticism from her fans
Love Island UK star Molly-Mae Hague is facing backlash from fans after sharing a photo of herself aboard a private jet, just days after announcing her engagement to boyfriend Tommy Fury.
Shared with her 7.6 million Instagram followers, the picture captures Molly-Mae holding the couple's baby daughter, Bambi, as the little one looks out of the window of the chartered plane, accompanied by Molly-Mae's caption, "Flying home a fiancé."
While many offered their congratulations on the pair's engagement, others were quick to express their disapproval of Molly-Mae's choice of transportation; a private jet.
Expressing concern about the environmental impact of such a lavish mode of travel, one follower wrote, "Molly, the world is literally burning, please no more private jets."
Another pointed out the stark contrast between extravagant travel choices and the financial challenges of many, saying, "Do people really want the private jet when everyone in the real world is struggling with bills, food and mortgage payments?"

This is not the first time Molly-Mae has faced criticism for using a private jet. Back in 2019, she also came under fire for chartering a private plane from England to Ireland, despite the availability of numerous commercial flights.
According to some estimates, private jets can produce up to 10 times the amount of carbon per passenger compared to commercial flights. However, these calculations may vary depending on factors such as the length of the journey, the type of aircraft used, and the number of passengers onboard.
Despite the backlash, some fans defended Molly-Mae's choices, labelling the critics as "bitter" and "jealous". The debate became so divisive that Molly-Mae decided to deactivate comments on her post.
Clearly, money is no object for the couple, as Tommy Fury reportedly spared no expense on Molly-Mae's engagement ring, investing around £600,000 in the dazzling piece. Tommy also proudly shared his VIP flight experience on Instagram, treating his followers to a photo of his feet resting on luxurious leather seats, with a celebratory hamper by his side.
Molly-Mae later revealed the extraordinary measures Tommy took to surprise her with the proposal, including creating fake emails to mislead her about their trip to Ibiza. The unforgettable moment took place beside a cliff, accompanied by the enchanting performance of The Vow by Irish singer-songwriter RuthAnne.
