Delta Goodrem's wedding sends Aussie designers into a frenzy
The newly engaged star is tipped to pick a local designer for her big day.
Delta Goodrem recently shared that she's engaged to long-term partner Matthew Copley, announcing that he popped the question after her recent European tour.
The Aussie singer-songwriter took to social media last Thursday to share that she and Matthew, who works as her guitarist, got engaged while on holiday in Malta.
“My best friend asked me to marry him,” she wrote in the caption alongside a ring emoji.
It was recently revealed that her stunning engagement ring was estimated to be over $100,000, with a specialist revealing to Daily Mail that he'd value the ring at $123,000.

Who will design Delta's wedding dress?
While there's a lot of excitement about Delta's impending nuptials, one thing that's already being hotly contested is who the lucky designer chosen to dress Delta for her big day will be.
The pop star is known for always looking glamorous on tours and on the red carpet, and one anonymous designer told the Daily Telegraph it's likely she'd opt for a homegrown label, as she's always been a big supporter of local designers.
"I don't see why she would look overseas for someone to create her dream wedding dress when she has access to literally all the top designers here in Australia," they said.
Velani designer Nicky Apostolopoulos said she thinks Delta might be choosing a few well-known brands.

"I personally think she might choose a few of us to dress her," she said. "I reckon she will go minimalistic and boho. She might have a beautiful sleeve. She has a beautiful long neck and loves her back, so maybe a low back.”
