“Deal or No Deal Island” players nominate reality stars to compete on next season of the show (exclusive)

Parvati, David, and Dr. Will name which "Survivor" and "Big Brother" favorites should make the jump.

“Deal or No Deal Island” players nominate reality stars to compete on next season of the show (exclusive)

In its first two seasons, Deal or No Deal Island has succeeded in finding intriguing groups of new reality competition contestants to battle it out for millions of dollars. Whether it has been Stephanie Mitchell and Alyssa Klinzing openly feuding in the Temple, Luke Olejniczak spectacularly failing against the Banker, or Dickson Wong stealing host Joe Manganiello’s sunglasses, the newbies have definitely done their part.

But DONDI has also made a splash through the strategic use of stunt casting, bringing in reality competition luminaries from the world of Survivor (Boston Rob Mariano, Parvati Shallow, David Genat) and Big Brother (Dr. Will Kirby). With that in mind, we asked the cast of season 2, along with the host, to give us their nominations for what reality stars they would like to see on the next season of the show. And that includes suggestions from the trio of reality stars from this season’s installment. Check out the video at the top of the article to see their answers.

DONDI clearly loves its Survivor celebrities, and Parvati nominates a fellow champion to be the next one to crossover. “The next reality player that I would like to see on Deal No Deal Island is obviously my guy, Ethan Zohn,” says Parvati. Parvati and Ethan both competed on Survivor: Winners at War, and had plenty of time to bond on the Edge of Extinction after both being voted out of the tribe. They formed a friendship that is still going strong five years later. But why should the Banker put Ethan back on an island? “He's charming, he's funny, he is really good with numbers,” Parvati, in full campaign mode, says. “Let's get him out there!”

And what does Ethan himself have to say about all of this? Is he willing to take on the Banker? We reached out to the Survivor: Africa champion and asked him. “Yes!” Ethan answers enthusiastically when asked if he is interested. “I’m ready for a cushy show where you don’t have to suffer! Give me food, shelter, a Temple, and cases full of cash and I would make so many deals that Boston Rob and Parvati would vote themselves out after beating the Banker!” Consider him in!

When it comes to Survivor players from across the globe, Australian Survivor champ David would like to see another fan favorite from the Aussie version take on the Banker. “I've been thinking about who would be good to play DONDI the next season,” he says. “And my pick is probably someone that's a little bit unknown in the United States. It's Luke Toki. He's a prolific Australian Survivor player. He hasn't won an Australian Survivor season, but he was so loved by the people that watched. They started a Kickstarter and donated $650,000 to him and his family. He's super affable, he's got this magnetic personality, and I think he would really do amazing strategy.” (This writer cosigns on all of that.)
