Daniel Craig shocks fans with 'unrecognisable' new look: 'Bond villain'
A photo of the British actor has gone viral online.
Daniel Craig has left fans baffled after he debuted a surprising new look on social media, which some people have labelled “unrecognisable”.
The 55-year-old James Bond actor, who portrayed the secret agent on screen from 2006 to 2021, has become well known for his short-cropped hairstyle and suave appearance.
However, he appeared drastically different in a video for Esquire this week where he is shown discussing Omega's Seamaster watches.
In the clip, Daniel has a much longer hairstyle parted in the middle and wears a pair of small, round glasses.
His transformation has evoked plenty of hilarious reactions online, including one fan who said: “He looks like the Bond villain now.”
“Daniel Craig looks like he’s about to tell your nan her ceramics are worthless on Antiques Roadshow,” another joked.

“Daniel Craig looks like he's about to say the Eurovision votes have been counted and verified, and the winner can now be revealed,” a different user replied.

Daniel Craig's run as James Bond
Daniel Craig played James Bond across five instalments in the film franchise, beginning with Casino Royale in 2006 and ending with No Time to Die in 2021.
He recently revealed that his timeline as 007 had been confirmed with the franchise’s producer Barbara Broccoli just a few days after Casino Royale premiered.
“I had genuinely thought I would do one Bond movie, then it would be over. But by then we knew we had a hit on our hands,” he told The Times.
“I realised the enormity of it, so I said to Barbara, ‘How many more? Three? Four?’. She said, ‘Four!’,” he continued. “I said, ‘OK. Then can I kill him off?’. She said, ‘Yes’.”
Fans have since labelled Daniel Craig as one of the best Bond actors in the character’s 60-year history.
