Cyrell Paule storms into MAFS reunion special: 'B*tch is back'

She admitted to dumping a glass of wine on co-star Jessika Power during the Married At First Sight reunion special and now viewers have caught their first glimpse of Cyrell Paule in a sneak peek promo for the highly anticipated TV event.

In the dramatic clip, the mum-of-one is seen storming into the dinner party wearing a glittering gold mini dress and a serious swagger in her step.

“The bitch is back!” the 32-year-old announces to her fellow returning contestants.

Among the ‘memorable brides and grooms’ who have come back to settle old scores in the two-part ‘grand reunion event’ are Ines Basic, Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli and Lizzie Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus, who recently called it quits.

While all of the stars have unfinished business, all eyes will no doubt be on the feud between Cyrell and Jess after the former recently admitted to throwing wine on the latter during filming back in December 2019.

Fans were given a tiny taste of the calm before the storm in the promo, with a shot of a smouldering Cyrell clutching a white wine while glaring at Jess from across the room.

Cyrell and Jess’ MAFS feud

Cyrell raised eyebrows in early January with a feisty Instagram rant that saw her admit to throwing a glass of wine over co-star Jessika Power while filming the upcoming reunion special.

In the same series of Stories, Cyrell also suggested that the explosive interaction between herself and Jess on the ‘All-Stars’ set back in December 2020 could’ve become physical.

“If I wanted to punch someone, I can! And there are reasons why wine was thrown instead of punches,” she declared.

Cyrell, who shares baby boy Boston with Love Island star Eden Dally, offered some context for her behaviour toward Jess, 28, claiming that she had “said nasty things towards me, my family, my relationship, my child.”

Jess responded to the allegations that she ‘bullied’ Cyrell and her 11-month-old son, Boston, saying that she “never spoke negatively about her child” but admitted that she did comment on Cyrell’s relationship with Eden.

Shortly afterwards, the 32-year-old new mum told Yahoo Lifestyle in an exclusive chat that she’s more than happy to embrace the role of the ‘bad guy’ in order to stand up for herself and her loved ones.

“I’m ready to be the next bad guy if it means standing strong for what I believe in,” she said.

So safe to say we can expect ‘Cyclone Cyrell’ to return in full force.

When does the Married At First Sight ‘Grand Reunion Event’ start?

The Married At First Sight reunion special will air over two nights: 7pm Sunday, January 31 and 7.30pm Monday, February 1, on Channel Nine.

Back in December, the network confirmed the project was underway, leaving fans of the explosive reality show champing at the bit to learn which familiar faces will be returning.

Along with Cyrell Paule and Jessika Power, Ines Basic, Ryan Gallagher, Mike Gunner, Dean Wells and Nasser Sultan (who reportedly also had a tiff with Cyrell during filming) are tipped to appear in the two-part special.

And it’s not just the single stars making a comeback either with MAFS success stories Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli, Lizzie Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus as well as new parents Jules and Cam also heading back to set.

As is Tracey Jewel who found love outside of the show with her high school sweetheart Nathan 'Nate' Constable. The pair are expecting their first child together, a sibling for Tracey’s daughter from a previous relationship.
