MAFS' Nasser Sultan quits reunion after clash with Cyrell Paule

The highly anticipated Married At First Sight: All-Stars reunion special may have only just been confirmed by Channel Nine but the drama-filled reality TV show is already clouded in controversy.

One of the show’s returning contestants, Nasser Sultan, has up and quit after a nasty clash with co-star Cyrell Paule according to Daily Mail.

Nasser, 52, was photographed bag in hand outside his hotel after storming out of a dinner party that was being filmed in a warehouse in Sydney’s Lilyfield.

He told the publication that new mum Cyrell accused him of ‘trolling’ her son Boston, now 10-months-old, while she was pregnant which he denies.

“She wanted me to me to apologise,” he said. “She said I’m a troll. That I trolled her when she was pregnant. Which there's no way I did.”

Nasser claimed that Cyrell continued to demand he say sorry as fellow contestants Ryan Gallagher and Michael Brunelli jumped in to ‘attack’ him.

“Three times I tried to apologise. And she just kept at me, at me, at me. She stood over me, and I thought, ‘You know what?’”

“A man, to a woman... the best thing to do is walk out, and I walked out, threw the microphone. I've packed my bags and I'm going home. I'm out of here. I've had enough,” he said.

Network producers were reportedly forced to step in when the confrontation between Nasser, who recently appeared in First Dates Australia, and several co-stars became heated.

MAFS: All-Stars set for 2021

Channel Nine recently confirmed an all-star special of Married at First Sight was underway and was scheduled to hit TV screens in early 2021, leaving fans of the explosive reality show champing at the bit to learn which familiar faces will be returning.

So far, Jessika Power, Ines Basic, Ryan Gallagher, Mike Gunner and Dean Wells along with Nasser and Cyrell are tipped to appear in the two-part special.

And it’s not just the single stars making a comeback either with MAFS success stories Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli, Lizzie Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus as well as new parents Jules and Cam also heading back to set.

As is Tracey Jewel who found love outside of the show with her high school sweetheart Nathan 'Nate' Constable. The pair are expecting their first child together, a sibling for Tracey’s daughter from a previous relationship.
