Country Singer Kylie Frey Welcomes First Baby with Boyfriend Jo Peasall, Son Lee: 'Welcome to the Family'

The musician, who found out she was expecting on New Year’s Day, has welcomed her first baby

Kylie Frey is a mom!

The country singer, 29, welcomed her first baby, son Lee Berenger “Bear” Peasall, with her boyfriend Joseph "Jo" Peasall, on Saturday, Aug. 31, sharing the exciting news on Instagram. In the sweet picture, Frey posed with her husband, holding her newborn baby boy.

Frey also shared solo shots of her son, wearing a tan beanie and cuddling a teddy bear. "Lee Berenger “Bear” Peasall 🐻🤍 Born 8/31 9lbs 11oz 20in long," Frey wrote in her caption. "Welcome to the family little buddy!"

The musician first announced that she was pregnant when speaking to PEOPLE in May at 25 weeks along. She also revealed that the couple found out she was expecting on New Year’s Day last year.

“Jo and I are really excited to show our son what hard work, commitment and passion looks like through what we do both on the road and at home," Frey told PEOPLE.

Frey previously paid tribute to Peasall, 27, with a post shared on Instagram in February. "Happy Valentine’s Day to my favorite partner in crime @cottontown_jo," the musician wrote alongside a photograph of the couple smiling and wearing cowboy hats together.

Peasall honored his girlfriend on her birthday in March by sharing a sweet video montage featuring recent clips of the "Woman Outta Love" singer.

"Happy Birthday to the most passionate, funny, hardworking, spunky, brave, and beautiful woman out there! Keep on being you Miss Thang, the world needs it! 🥳❤️," he captioned the tribute post.

Frey, who previously competed on season 18 of America's Got Talent, was recently featured on a Cody Johnson single and has toured with the star, along with Jamey Johnson, Randall King and Robert Earl Keen.
