Controversial MAFS couple's cryptic posts could confirm split

Rumours have been swirling that controversial MAFS couple Jessika Power and Dan Webb’s relationship is very much on the rocks after a live TV interview turned into an on-screen fight.

Now the reality stars’ latest social media posts are only adding fuel to the fire, as both Jess and Dan have shared solo snaps and telling captions that could suggest they’ve perhaps split.

“What a night with the lads Fitzy and Wippa at the dinner party with wonderful people. Amazing time and very grateful to have been invited 🙂 #mafs #FitzyAndWippa,” Dan wrote on his Instagram account.

Despite him and Jess attending the radio event together last week, he only posted a photo of himself.

Meanwhile Jess also shared a solo snap from the same event, as well as one of her with her female co-stars.

“I had so much fun at the Nova 100 party with the girls! Thanks for having us,” wrote Jess.

Last night Jess and Dan engaged in a bitter war of words in the toe-curling segment which centred on Jess’ inability to be honest about hitting on Nic Jovanovic during one of the show’s boozed-up dinner parties.

The commotion came to a head when Dan was forced to tell Talking Married’s Ben Fordham the effect the scandal had on the pair’s relationship.

After Jess pleaded with her on-screen love interest that they shouldn’t engage in a ‘fight on national television’, Dan was quick to quip back about rewatching his girlfriend’s antics during the finale.

“That was then, this is now and it just raises the conversation that I’ve got major trust issues with this,” he said.

The 35-year-old dad was shown struggling to contain his emotions and at one point resorted to burying his face in his hands.

And his response only led to Jess doubling-down in her defence and flat-out denying any past interest with Cyrell’s onscreen husband.

“I wasn’t interested in being with Nic, I wasn’t interested in swapping with Nic – I just wanted to talk to him about the fight between Cyrell and Martha,” she said.

“Looking back it does look like I hit on him and that’s what everyone here [Dan] seems to want me to admit so yeah, I’ll admit it.”

The lovers’ tiff followed an explosive night of television to cap off the blockbuster reality series.

Among its highlights were Jess’ proposition to Nic being exposed to the group – including Dan – which led to the couple breaking up and then reuniting in the days after filming.
